A stone's throw from Djurgårdsbron, along Narvavägen and down an aged stone staircase, lies Kasten – a bistro created by Jim&Jacob.
The name is taken from the butler and cellar master Kasten Hoff, active in 17th-century Stockholm, and reflects both the city's history and the soul of the bistro. Here, rustic, familiar flavors and a wine program where the old world takes center stage meet. Kasten is a safe spot that exudes timelessness, warmth and continuity.
The menu is based on Swedish ingredients and classic dishes, prepared with an open and inclusive view of gastronomy. The cuisine is shaped by Jim&Jacob – but also by the people who fill Kasten – where personal experiences and stories take center stage.

Between August 25th - September 19th, OP Anderson will move into Kasten Bistro's intimate chambre séparée - Fasanrummet for a unique tribute to Swedish food and drink culture. For a limited time, you have the opportunity to experience one of our most classic drinks in a new way.
The schnapps is served with old man's porridge on freshly baked bread and a cold lager - a hard-to-beat combination that highlights some of the most beloved flavors in Swedish food tradition.

Here you will find a generous selection of carefully selected wines from classic European wine regions – from well-known producers to smaller discoveries. And for those who like to start, continue or end with bubbles, we have an extra good eye for Champagne.
Sit down for a drink and a bite to eat, or book a full dinner at the bar – in our opinion, some of the best seats in the entire pub. Close to the kitchen, the bar and the action.

We accommodate groups from 6 to 28 people, and whether you are planning a business lunch or a festive dinner, you will feel at home.
Lunch:
For groups of 10 people or more, we offer a pre-ordered 3-course lunch menu for 495 SEK per person, a perfect meal to enjoy together in a quiet and exclusive environment.
Evening:
Choose between two delicious evening menus from 875 SEK per person. We have carefully put together menus that reflect both classic and modern cooking, all to give you an unforgettable evening.
